What is BIAB?
BIAB, or Builder in a Bottle, is a gel-like polish applied as an overlay on natural nails. It behaves like a gel but cures to a strong, durable finish—so you’re less likely to chip between appointments.

Is BIAB good for your nails?
Short answer: yes. Natural nails often benefit more from BIAB than from other manicures. Its application and removal are typically gentler than classic acrylics or standard gel manicures.

Is BIAB better than gel polish?
Although it’s a gel product, BIAB cures hard under an LED lamp and is generally more durable than regular gel polish. (Note: Shellac is a popular brand/type of gel polish.)

How long does BIAB last?
BIAB usually lasts about 3–4 weeks. It can be infilled or fully redone; for best results, book regular appointments every ~3 weeks.

Can you have BIAB on short nails?
Absolutely. If your nails are short or brittle, we can apply BIAB to your natural nail—the added strength helps you grow them out. (And it’s not so easy to bite!)
